1" Polyester Horsehair Braid, 50 yd

I used this for the hem of a formal gown and it held the shape beautifully without making the fabric feel heavy. The 50-yard length was more than enough for my project.

I was a little worried the hem would feel heavy, but this polyester horsehair braid adds just the right structure to my floor-length gown without any extra weight. The 1-inch width was easy to sew and gave the skirt a beautiful, full shape.

This braid is 1 inch wide which gave my dress hem just the right amount of structure without adding noticeable weight. It was easy to sew in and held its shape well through two wearings.
