3/4" Braided Elastic, White

I’ve been using this elastic to replace the drawstring in my toddler’s shorts, and the braided texture grips the fabric nicely without slipping. It narrows just enough when stretched to stay snug in the waistband casing. Really pleased with how well it holds up after a few washes.

I’ve been through a few elastics for waistbands and this one holds its shape nicely even after washing, and it’s light enough not to bunch up under thin fabric. The slightly ribbed texture grips well when I sew it in place, so no slipping mid-project.

This braided elastic is lightweight and has that slight ribbing that makes it easy to grip when sewing. It does narrow quite a bit under tension, so I sized down for the neckline I was working on, but the final result is smooth and comfortable.
