My last piece of chalk kept snapping at the edges, but this sharpener gave it a clean, smooth point in seconds. The little bottom compartment that flips open to dump out the dust is genuinely handy, too. Chalk lasts way longer now.

I love how the bottom compartment catches the chalk dust, so I don't have a mess all over my sewing table. It gives my chalk blocks a perfectly clean, fine edge that glides smoothly on fabric without leaving rough scratches.

I was skeptical it would actually make a difference, but the blade creates such a clean, even edge on my chalk that my lines are way crisper now. The little dust compartment underneath is a genius touch too, so I don't have to wipe crumbs off my cutting mat every few minutes.
