This was a lifesaver for hemming a tricky pair of curtains without fighting with pins. The tape is thin enough to not add bulk, and it washed out perfectly on the first go.

I used it to hold a hem for my dress pants, and it stayed put through several washes before finally dissolving—no pin pricks to deal with. Works exactly as described.

I was skeptical about using tape instead of pins for a silk hem, but this tape held perfectly through the sewing machine and dissolved cleanly in the first wash, no residue left behind.
