The range of darning needles made of hardened steel offers short needles for the darning of wool garments and socks, as well as long needles for finer darning tasks. The needles have the typical tapered shape of a hand sewing needle, but are a lot bigger in size and therefore have a proportionately adjusted larger eye. This also allows the threading of sturdier yarns and wool. The surface of the darning needles is burr-free and rust resistant. It ensures that the needle can easily glide through the material.

Julian ★★★★★

The short needles in this set work perfectly for darning thick wool socks without bending, while the longer ones handle finer repairs with ease.

Matthew H. ★★★★★

I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the No. 5 long needles glide through heavier wool, making sock repairs much less tedious. The hardened steel tips hold up well even after several uses.

Evelyn ★★★★★

The shorter No. 1 needles fit perfectly into the tight stitches of a wool sock heel without bending. I’ve already used them to patch three different sweaters, and the taper makes threading quick even with thick yarn.
