Dritz Fold Over Elastic, also known as FOE, is a lightweight elastic with a built in indentation to make it easier to encase fabric edges. It is a great way to bind any raw edge in just one pass. It goes around turns and corners with no puckers, can be stretched or gathered for any project, and also be used in place of bias tape. Try making your own bracelets, wristbands, headbands and ponytail holders! Or add a colorful decorative accent to knit garments.

  • Soft elastic with center indention
  • Can be used to encase the edge of a seam by folding along the center indention
  • Finish edges of blankets, throws, jackets, shrugs and other projects

Ryan ★★★★★

Used this to finish the neckline of a knit dress and the built-in fold made it so easy to keep everything aligned. The 1-inch width is perfect for a clean, professional-looking edge without any bulk.

Olivia ★★★★★

This is the perfect FOE for sewing projects—it glides through my machine without puckering and the built-in fold makes binding necklines so much faster than bias tape. I used it on a woven dress and the edges came out clean and professional on the first try.

Timothy O. ★★★★★

That little indentation down the middle makes a huge difference — the fabric edge tucks right in and I bind it in one pass instead of fiddling with a double fold. Used it on cloth diaper covers and the white stayed crisp after washing.
