Finally got around to re-covering an old armchair and these T-pins held the heavy upholstery fabric securely in place without bending. The nickel coating seems sturdy too.

These glide through a thick wool blanket like butter, and the 1-1/2" length is perfect for holding slippery layers in place while I sew. The tips stayed needle-sharp after pinning and re-pinning half a dozen times.

I needed heavy-duty pins for an upholstery project and these t-pins slide through thick fabric smoothly. The 1-1/2 inch length works perfectly for securing bulky layers without bending.
