The magnetic tip on the head holds tacks perfectly, making placement so much easier than using my fingers. It’s lightweight enough to control precisely, even on tricky corners.

I’ve been using this to reupholster a dining chair and the magnetized head is a lifesaver for not losing tacks. The flat side drives them in flush with no slips, even on tight curves.

The flat side of the head sinks tacks flush on the first strike, which saved my knuckles and a lot of frustration on the armchair trim. Feels solid in the hand and the weight is just right for a quick setting job.
