I've never set eyelets before and these went in clean on the first try, the washers really keep the fabric from tearing. The little tools that come in the set made it painless. Used them on a canvas tote for laces and the gold finish looks way nicer than I expected.

The little washer tool that comes in the kit is what sold me — you just tap it with a hammer and the eyelet rolls over clean. I used the 11 mm gold ones on a canvas tote for the laces and they've held up through a couple of washes so far.
