I’ve been using this with a fine cotton thread and the four rotating hooks create such neat, consistent tubes. The handle turns smoothly and it’s surprisingly quick once you get the rhythm down.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but the handle turns so smoothly that even my first try came out even and neat. The four hooks really do keep the tension consistent once you get the rhythm down.

I was worried the hooks might snag my yarn, but they rotate smoothly as I turn the handle, making a neat little tube. It’s perfect for using up my size 2 cotton yarn scraps.
