I’ve used this red transfer pencil on a few quilt blocks and the lines stay crisp after ironing. The color shows up well on light fabric without bleeding.

I was a little worried the red would come out faint on dark fabric, but it showed up clearly and held its color through the whole ironing process. The pencil tip is narrow enough for fine quilt lines, which is exactly what I needed for my latest wall hanging.

This red pencil glides onto fabric so smoothly that I could trace my stencil without any skipping or pulling. It transferred onto the quilt block perfectly with just a hot iron, leaving a clear, visible line.
