I was worried about getting a clean fit with my rivets, but the setter and anvil lined up perfectly on the first try. This tool handles the double-cap style just as described.

The hole punch makes clean, precise holes in denim, and the anvil and setter snap those rivets in place with no wobble. I’ve used it on three different projects so far, and each rivet has stayed secure through the wash.

I was a little worried the setter would be too tricky to use, but it aligns perfectly with the rivets and the anvil provides a solid backing. The hole punch is sharp and went through denim without any fraying.
