36" Flexible Yardstick

This fiberglass yardstick is flexible enough to curve around a sleeve pattern but still stays perfectly straight when I need a long edge. It doesn't warp or bend permanently like my old plastic one did.

My old plastic ruler kept snapping, so this fiberglass one is a relief—it bends slightly without breaking. It’s a good middle ground for small projects, though I wish it were a bit longer for bigger quilts.

For marking out curved seam allowances, this fiberglass yardstick is surprisingly easy to bend without snapping. It’s also light enough to hold steady with one hand while cutting.
