This stuff held up perfectly when I sewed it into a denim jacket cuff — it’s stiff enough to keep its shape but still stretches enough to slip a hand through easily.

Sewed this into a heavyweight denim waistband and it held its shape perfectly through a full day of wear, no rolling or sagging. The white color stayed crisp even after washing.

I was nervous about hemming a pair of wool pants and this elastic held up perfectly through thick seams without twisting. The 1-1/4 yard length was just enough for two waistband projects, and the stiffness really does give that structured, tailored hold I wanted.
