1" Adjustable Slide Buckles

The sliding center bar makes shortening a strap actually easy, no sewing required. I swapped these onto a canvas tote and a crossbody bag in one afternoon and both stay put at the length I set.

I used these to fix the straps on an old canvas bag and the adjustable length finally makes it sit right on my shoulder. The rectangle shape with the sliding center bar is simple but it does exactly what it's supposed to.
