Fruit Pin Cushion & Pattern Weight

I was pleasantly surprised how well these little fruit shapes hold down lightweight fabric without slipping. The crocheted texture actually grips the material nicely, and I love having a pin cushion that doubles as a pattern weight.

The berries are surprisingly sturdy for their size, and the little crocheted texture actually grips fabric well enough to hold down slippery pattern paper. I've been using the strawberry as a pincushion on my desk and it keeps everything within reach without rolling away.

I love that each little fruit is crocheted so tightly—they hold pins firmly without snagging. The 0.8-ounce weight is just right for keeping pattern paper flat while I cut.
