I sew a lot of costumes, and this clear liquid seals raw edges instantly without leaving a stiff, ugly crust. It’s held up through several machine washes on my last project, which honestly surprised me.

After ruining a couple of shirts with sloppy hems, this clear liquid seals the cut edges so neatly. It dries completely invisible and actually survived a machine wash cycle without peeling or stiffening the fabric.

Used this on a silk blouse hem and the clear liquid dried completely invisible, no stiff white crust like other sealants I've tried. Threw it in the wash twice since and the edge hasn't frayed one bit.
