Finally got around to using this on dark denim and the fine tip made precise dart lines without smudging. Disappeared completely with just a damp cloth.

I was skeptical about marking silk with anything, but this pencil glides on light enough that the lines wipe away with just a damp cloth, leaving no trace. Used it for darts and transferred pleat markings all in one sitting. Works perfectly for marking dark fabrics, and the fact that it disappears

The tip stays sharp through a whole afternoon of marking darts and pattern lines, and it’s way easier to wipe off than the chalk I used before. A quick spritz and everything disappears like it was never there.
