I’ve been sewing for years and these 8.75" shears have the perfect weight in my hand for long cutting sessions. The 9.5" option was tempting but the smaller size feels more precise for curved seams and trimming. They’re sharp right out of the box and glide through multiple layers without snagging.

Cut through denim and canvas like butter with these shears, and the 8.75-inch size feels perfectly balanced for detailed pattern work. The blades stay sharp after weeks of heavy use, which is more than I can say for my old pair.

I’ve been using the 9.5-inch version for quilting, and the precision on curved cuts is impressive. The handles are comfortable enough for a full afternoon of trimming fabric.
