1/2" Braided Elastic, Black

Pulled out a yard to sew into my daughter's swimsuit cover-up, and it worked perfectly for that lightweight gathering at the waist. The black color is true and the braided texture grabs the fabric nicely without slipping.

Bought this for a quick hem fix on a lightweight summer dress and it worked fine, though it does narrow quite a bit when you pull it taut. The ribbing is subtle enough that it doesn’t show through thin fabric, which is a plus.

This braided elastic is soft enough to not irritate skin on a neckline, yet it holds its shape after repeated washing. Worked perfectly for my daughter's dance costume.
