1/4" Knit Elastic, White

Used this for my daughter’s dance costume waistband and it holds its shape perfectly even after multiple washes. The soft feel against her skin is a nice bonus, no scratchy edges.

I wasn’t sure if the quarter-inch width would feel stiff, but it’s actually soft enough for a neckline and stays flat instead of curling up mid-seam. Stretches without narrowing, which made my waistband sewing way easier.

Bought this for a swimsuit project and was pleasantly surprised at how soft it feels against the skin—no scratchy edges. It bends around curves without curling up, and the waistband came out smooth on the first try.
