The tiny white ribs keep this braided elastic from twisting when I sew it into my daughter’s sundress necklines—stays flat and soft even after washing.

It's hard to beat 4 yards of elastic for the price, and the braided texture holds its shape well when sewn into a casing. I used it for a simple sleeve gather and the narrow width was just right for the delicate fabric.

I use this to reinforce the waistband on my daughter’s dance skirts, and it’s just the right weight—light enough not to bulk up the seam but still holds its shape. The 4 yards was plenty for three costumes.
