I needed a soft elastic for a swimsuit leg band, and this knit elastic is curl resistant just as described—it sewed flat without any twisting. Worked perfectly for that delicate stretch fabric.

I used this for the waistband of a pair of shorts, and the fact it doesn't narrow when stretched made sewing it in place much easier. It's soft against the skin, too.

I’ve used this for a few waistbands and it’s genuinely soft against the skin, no bunching even after washing. The fact that it doesn’t narrow when you pull it makes sewing so much easier.
