This stuff held up perfectly when I used it for a heavy corduroy waistband — it’s stiff enough to keep its shape but still stretches smoothly.

Sewing a denim waistband and this elastic held its shape through two wash cycles without twisting, exactly the stiff support I needed for heavier fabric. The 1-1/4 yard length was plenty for one project, and the white color didn’t show through the seam.

This white elastic is seriously stiff, which is exactly what I needed for a structured jacket waistband. It held its shape through a full day of wear and washed up fine, no curling or twisting.
