1" Knit Elastic, Navy, 3 yd

I made three pairs of lounge shorts with this navy knit elastic for the waistbands, and it's soft against my skin without any curling while sewing. The 1-inch width gives just the right amount of support, and the three-yard length was plenty for multiple projects.

I used this for the waistband of some lounge shorts I sewed, and it stayed flat through the first wash—no rolling at all. The knit texture makes it much more comfortable against the skin than the stiff elastic I used before.

I sew a lot of swimwear, and this knit elastic keeps its width even when I tug it hard, so the leg bands lay flat without that annoying curl. The 3-yard navy piece was just right for two suits, and the softness makes it comfortable against the skin.
