2" Knit Elastic, Black

Finally, an elastic that doesn’t twist as I sew it into waistbands. The fabric is soft to the touch but holds firm when stretched, exactly what I needed for my leggings.

I needed something that wouldn't dig into my skin for a waistband repair, and this knit elastic actually stays flat and doesn't curl up while you're sewing it.

This black knit elastic is so much softer and more pliable than the stiff stuff I usually find, and it didn't curl up at all when I sewed it into a waistband. It also holds its width perfectly even when I pull it tight, which made my project look much cleaner.
